This project involved creating a program that reads musical notation from a file and plays the corresponding melody on the system speaker. Developed using Pascal and C++, the program interprets the meter and note representation provided in the file, translating it into audible sound. By processing the notes and timing, the program accurately plays the melody as intended, offering a basic yet functional tool for transforming written music into sound.
This project allowed me to explore the intersection of programming and music, requiring an understanding of both musical theory and software development. It provided valuable experience in handling file input/output, sound generation, and timing control within a low-level programming environment.
