SantaSync Simulator

The SantaSync Simulator is a program designed to model and demonstrate a complex synchronization problem using C++ and threads. The simulation features three types of threads: Santa Claus, reindeer, and elves. Each type of thread has distinct roles and behaviors that interact in a synchronized manner.

In the simulation, elves work on gift preparation but periodically encounter issues that require them to queue up for Santa Claus’s assistance. The reindeer, meanwhile, are on vacation but gather in a queue to assist Santa after a set period simulating the number of months. During December, Santa focuses on delivering presents with the help of the reindeer, rather than solving the elves’ problems.

This project provides a practical illustration of thread synchronization and scheduling in a multi-threaded environment, showcasing how different processes can be coordinated effectively to achieve a common goal.
