Network Ping-Pong is an engaging multiplayer ping-pong game system designed with a client-server architecture. Developed using C++, OpenGL, and UDP networking, this system allows multiple clients to connect to a central server, which manages game sessions and ensures smooth gameplay.
The server handles game logic, including physics, scoring, and room management. It supports an unlimited number of client connections, limited only by the server’s hardware capabilities. The server’s responsibilities include simulating game physics, maintaining scores, and coordinating between clients.
On the client side, users connect to the server to participate in the game. The game is rendered using OpenGL, providing a visually appealing experience. Clients can control their paddles with arrow keys and interact with the game environment in real time.
This project demonstrates advanced networking, real-time simulation, and graphical rendering, offering a comprehensive understanding of client-server interactions and game development.
